TrainFloor is a marketplace where coaches post workouts and everybody else trains them for free. These are the rules for using it. By creating an account you agree to them.
Who can use TrainFloor
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission. One person, one account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Your content stays yours
Workouts, comments, messages, images and voice notes you post remain yours. You give us the permission we need to run the service: to store your content, and to display it to other people using TrainFloor in the way the app is designed to. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already made in backups or retained for the safety reasons below.
Only post what you have the right to post. Do not upload somebody else's writing, photographs or video as your own.
Objectionable content is not tolerated
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on TrainFloor. Do not post, send or upload anything that is:
- harassing, bullying, threatening, or targeted at a person to intimidate them;
- hateful towards people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age;
- sexually explicit, or sexual content involving minors in any form;
- violent, graphic, or encouraging self-harm, suicide or disordered eating;
- promoting illegal drugs, doping or unsafe use of any substance;
- illegal, fraudulent, or infringing somebody's rights;
- spam, scams, or bulk unsolicited messages.
Do not impersonate anybody, do not scrape or copy the service, and do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to it.
Reporting, blocking and what we do about it
Every workout, comment, message and profile can be reported from inside the app, and you can block any account, which stops them contacting you and hides their content from you. Posted text is also checked automatically before or shortly after it appears.
Reports are reviewed and acted on. We may remove content, limit an account, or terminate it, with or without notice, where these terms have been broken. Serious cases are reported to the relevant authorities. If your account is terminated you may contact us to dispute it.
Training is information, not medical advice
Read this part. Workouts on TrainFloor are written by other users. They are not medical advice, they are not prescribed for you, and they have not been reviewed by a doctor or a qualified professional for your situation.
- Talk to a doctor before starting any new training, particularly if you have a medical condition, an injury, are pregnant, or have been inactive.
- You train at your own risk. Stop if something hurts.
- Coaches on TrainFloor are people who chose to post. Being a coach here is not a professional certification and we do not verify qualifications.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury or loss arising from training you choose to do.
Coaches
Anyone can become a coach in the app and post workouts. If you do, you confirm the workouts you post are yours to post and that you have described them honestly. You are responsible for what you publish and for any links you put on your profile.
The service can change
TrainFloor is under active development. Features may change or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times. We will not deliberately delete your content without cause, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms. The sections on content licence, disclaimers, and liability survive the end of your account.
No warranty, and limits on liability
TrainFloor is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid for the service, which is currently nothing.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [state to be confirmed], United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be brought in the courts located there.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially the date at the top changes and the app will point you here. Continuing to use TrainFloor after a change means the new version applies.
